Can we save Nature from Human Nature-ouselves from ourselves??

just pondering thoughts of the conditions/situations we have created for ourselves & future generations. I am not sure that man has the power to destroy Nature however we may have initiated a problem where man disrupts Nature & in return Nature destroys Nature.
