New England Power Convergence & Occupy New England 4th Regional Gathering

Occupy New England and the Student Environmental Action Coalition will be hosting a New England Power Convergence to promote Environmental and Economic Justice on Friday, April 26th – Sunday, April 28th in Durham New Hampshire. We would like to invite all interested organizations and individuals to attend.

This event is free and open to the public. All donations are welcome.

If you can donate to this event, please send your donations online through the ONE Wepay here: www.wepay.com/donations/occupy-new-england. Also, this event will be an #OccupySandy donation drop off. Please take a look at the Occupy Sandy Registries interoccupy.net/occupysandy/registries/ to see the updated list of needs. After the event, we will be driving a U-Haul down to New Jersey to help with the relief and rebuilding efforts.

We are also looking for volunteers to help with various tasks during the event. We will need room facilitators, people to record classes for upload to an academy website, leave no trace crews, Crews for litter pick up during the environmental march, people to operate information tents and runners to help get people to where they need to go during the classes. We will also need some volunteers for carpooling in order to get people to their sleeping arrangements and to Portsmouth and back on the day of the Environmental march.
