CBS News reports Syria accused of destroying evidence ahead of UN team
August 22 The UN inspection team's lead vehicle was "deliberately shot at multiple times" as they left a government checkpoint during a visit to part of the Syrian capital where hundreds of people were reportedly killed, Martin Nesirky told Sky News. The Red Crescent (Syrian version of the Red Cross was denied access for 3 days as well.. When the attack first happened the Syrian Government denied it even happened.
