America has a fine conservative party: President Obama, the Clintons, and possibly thirty or fifty politicians of their type: decent, intelligent, thoughtful.

 

Other than that, there are several yowling mobs of crazies: the fundies, the libertarians, the right-wingnuts, sometimes somewhat united as Republicans, more often just running around screaming at each other and at the world.

 

Then there's the loyal opposition: Bernie Sanders.

 

What America needs is a two party system.  That means getting 59 more of Bernie Sanders into the Senate.
