Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Kendrick Meek is traveling to Panama City on Sunday where he’s scheduled for a roundtable on the economic effects of the Deepwater Horizon oil spill and a town hall meeting about drilling off Florida’s beaches.
Friday evening, during a South Florida campaign stop, he described it as a “no more drilling town hall.”
“We cannot allow and we will not allow oil companies to get off the hook for what it is going to cost,” he said.
