Drear Friends,

Good Day!

I joined in Exchanges Connect Annual Video Contest this year about CLIMATE CHAnGE. The prize for the said contest will be joining in International Exchanges Program for 2 weeks. The winner will be chosen based on vote and rate made by the people who will watch the video.

Last night, I submitted my video for the said contest entitled "Let's raise our Hands and Participate in Saving the Life of Mother Earth. I am knocking in your good heart to please support me by voting and rating my video. I really want to join the International exchange program because participating in the said program will definitely not just experience but also enhance my knowledge about the U.S Culture.

As contact in Canada for this day, «Circle of Peace» engages civil society in the peaceful observance of the day, and helps to raise awareness to the stakes of non-violence. In doing so, it also helps develop a «Culture of Peace» as defined by UNESCO. Following the initiative of British director Jeremy Gilley, the United Nations adopted, in September 2001, a resolution declaring Septembre 21st, the International Day of Peace.
Since it’s creation, in July 2004, Circle of Peace, has also worked to convince all levels of government: the City of Montreal, and both the Quebec and Canadian governments, to officially adopt September 21, as the International Day of Peace.

September 21st

In 1999, Jeremy founded Peace One Day, a non-profit organisation, and in 2001 Peace One Day's efforts were rewarded when the United Nations unanimously adopted the first-ever day of global ceasefire and non-violence on 21 September annually - Peace Day.

In 2007 according to the UN, over 100 million people were active on Peace Day, in 192 countries. There were life-saving initiatives in 14 countries, and over 80 activities in Afghanistan alone where 1.4 million children were vaccinated against polio.

Hello I'm Glenn. I really worked Twitter in Iran the other day and got very involved in moving masses of info...word clouds formed and could be visibly moved into the mass awareness and then seeds in that cloud seemed to sprout as if in a garden. Meditation, contemplation, I'm a solitary a mystic, and kind and tough.
