I believe I had an encounter with Jack Kerouac's spirit last week. Went to a book store with the intention of making contact with him (as he is known to still linger there and even move his books around). It was an amazing experience, from the moment we entered this place!!

Thank you both for your sharing. I notice orbs in photos. If I am looking for a place to stay- I look for orbs to give me a heads up as to if the place is haunted or not. This does not always work though.

I once stayed at a brand new (recently renovated) hotel in Miami. It was an old art deco building (I did not know this & I saw no orbs in the photos online). We had several strange incidents occur in our suite- leading up to a terrifying experience with what I later found out is called a "chocking ghost" (I found out about these type of ghosts when I was watching a special on Hawaii and all of the paranormal activity that goes on there- many firemen, tourists,residents, and business people have all had experiences with them). You basically feel like there is a HUGE weight on you- you cannot move your body OR scream for help! It is VERY scary. I was able to break free after I envisioned a spirit guide helping me. When I went back into the bedroom it was SO HOT!!! We packed our stuff and left that hotel at 3 in the morning! When I arrived at the other hotel, I noticed a strange imprint on my upper/ inner arm. I had a shaman / message therapist cleanse my aura, etc. that same day- she said it looked like a palm print- like someone was pushing down on me!

You always have to trust your instincts- travel with a spiritual kit- sage and some other things- you never know what/ who you can encounter on this strange journey.

I had another weird experience the other day....In my bedroom at home..I have a dormer (which is a window in the ceiling). I just was getting ready for bed, turned out the lights and got in. Was putting some lotion on my hands when all of the sudden I see this HUGE BRIGHT light by the dormer. It was getting closer and closer! (I live on a heavily wooded lot- not many explanations on what it could be). I screamed loudly and then it got BRIGHTER- then dimmer and then completely got dark again. It was WIERD.

My dog was in his cage next to my bed and I ran out of the room and he was barking in there!! Animals are very receptive to other realms! They have a show on animal planet which I have never seen called "The Haunted"- it is about animals having encounters with spirits.

My daughter has taken a few photos of orbs, I've not seen them personally only in the photos, how lovely that you have Marie.
